This exceptional Caroni rum was distilled in Trinidad in 1997 and matured for 19 years before being bottled in 2016 by the renowned independent bottler Valinch & Mallet. Drawn exclusively from Barrel No. 100, this limited single cask release is one of only 300 individually numbered bottles produced worldwide.

Bottled at 51.8% ABV, without chill filtration and with its natural colour preserved, this expression perfectly captures the unmistakable character of the legendary Caroni Distillery, which ceased production in 2002. Rich, powerful and intensely complex, it displays the bold industrial style for which Caroni has become one of the world's most sought-after collectible rums.

Carefully selected by Valinch & Mallet, this bottling offers exceptional depth and balance, with layers of dark fruits, caramel, roasted coffee, liquorice, leather, tobacco and subtle oak spice, culminating in a long, elegant and persistent finish.

The bottle is in excellent condition and is accompanied by its original presentation box. The label, capsule and fill level are all well preserved, and the bottle has been carefully stored. It is offered exactly as shown in the accompanying photographs.
