Finely carved with exquisite details of the face and the body, the muscular nude figure standing with his weight resting on the right leg, both arms raised, the right hand clenching a ewer, the left arm partially missing. Mounted on a marble stand from the previous collectors.
Size: 11.2 cm H - 4 3/8 inches
Material: Bronze
Culture: Etruscan, c. 4th Century B.C.
Condition: Left arm partially missing, otherwise intact
Display stand included
Provenance: Jeremy Mason Collection, London, acquired from the London art market in the 1980s. Subsequently acquired at Bonham's, London, Online Auction 23 June-7 July.
