Horst P. Horst (1906–1999) var en av 1900-talets mest inflytelserika modefotografer. Född i Tyskland flyttade han till Paris i början av 1930-talet, där han arbetade med fotografen George Hoyningen-Huene innan han anslöt sig till French Vogue. Känd för sin mästerliga ljussättning, klassiska komposition och tidlös elegans, fotograferade Horst ledande personer inom mode, konst och samhälle, inklusive Coco Chanel, Marlene Dietrich och Salvador Dalí. Hans verk finns i stora museisamlingar världen över, inklusive Victoria and Albert Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art och J. Paul Getty Museum.
