ABOUT THE ARTIST

Elena Paraskevas verk hålls i institutionella och företagsuppsamlingar, inklusive Public Art Department of Sweden (Västra Götaland Government), Boston Hospital, USA (stor 500 cm installation vid ingången till Barncancervingen), Australian National University, Thalassa Museum, Affinity (Serif), och andra institutionella och företagsuppsamlingar.

År 2026 valde Magnum-fotografen Alec Soth, allmänt ansedd som en av de mest inflytelserika levande fotograferna, personligen hennes arbete för utställning i Grekland, hålls under Grekiska kulturministeriets beskydd.

Hennes arbete har visats i EUROPEISKA PARLAMENTERET i Bryssel, samt vid stora biennaler och gallerier i NYC, Paris, Tokyo, London, Dubai, Sao Paulo ( Brasilien), Wien, Barcelona, München, Kuala Lumpur, Florens, Frankfurt, Málaga, Linz, Graz, Siena med flera.

Hon har utsetts till International Photographer of the Year (2024 / 2023 / 2021 / 2018) av fyra olika internationella fotografiföreningar.

Hon har fått internationell erkännande och stora utmärkelser från Hasselblad Masters, World Masters of Photography, LensCulture, Aesthetica, Prix de la Photographie Paris, International Photography Awards (IPA), Neutral Density Awards och många andra.

Hennes fotografier har publicerats i Smithsonian Magazine, The Guardian (UK & Australien), The Times, Vogue.it, Aesthetica, LensCulture, PDN, Photography Masterclass och många andra internationella publikationer.

Sedan 2021 har hon varit jurymedlem för FLORIDA MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS och som domare i flera internationella fototävlingar varje år. Hon är även tidigare Adobe-instruktör och ambassadör.
