"Two Different Worlds" XX-NO Reserve
Oil and acrylic / 80 x 90 cm
"Two Different Worlds" is a thought-provoking original artwork that explores the stark contrast between Western consumer culture and global inequality.
The composition brings together iconic pop culture imagery and raw social realism. On the right, a central figure representing corporate fast-food abundance stands surrounded by excess, holding a full meal. On the left, painted in muted grayscale tones, three impoverished children reach out towards the food, highlighting the deep divide in access to basic resources.
The background features the iconic golden arches sign tagged with graffiti, alongside a soaring eagle against a vivid blue sky, emphasizing themes of commercial dominance, freedom, and power dynamics.
This piece serves as a powerful visual critique of modern overconsumption, global poverty, and the economic disparities of our contemporary world. An impactful addition for collectors of modern pop art and socially conscious contemporary art.
About artist:
Hazu Ionut is a self-taught painter born in Bacau, Romania. From a young age he was attracted to visual arts, but without a mentor to guide him, he took the brush and started painting. He still doesn't have a particular style, that's why in his portfolio we find works of art from portraits to figurative art and static nature. Many of his artworks have appeared in various catalogs dedicated to art lovers.
Appears in publications with interviews such as Mutual art, Pice Gallery, Artit.
