DESCRIZIONE / DESCRIPTION:
IT: Elegant lampada da tavolo a cherosene (lume a petrolio) d'epoca, risalente alla fine del XIX secolo / inizio del XX secolo. La lampada è caratterizzata da un raffinato serbatoio sferico in vetro soffiato color azzurro/turchese con decorazione in rilievo lavorata a spirale (torciglione).
Il corpo centrale è montato su un'importante base circolare in ottone, riccamente ornata con motivi geometrici e floreali in rilievo. Il bruciatore in metallo dorato presenta una corona traforata ed è completo di stoppino interno e del suo camino (tubo) originale in vetro trasparente sottile, sagomato per ottimizzare la fiamma.
EN:Elegant antique kerosene/oil table lamp dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. The lamp features a refined spherical light blue/turquoise blown glass reservoir with a spiral (twisted) embossed decoration.
The central body is mounted on an important circular brass base, richly adorned with embossed geometric and floral motifs. The gilded metal burner features a pierced crown and comes complete with an internal wick and its original thin clear glass chimney (tube), shaped to optimize the flame.

CONDIZIONI / CONDITIONS
IT: Ottime condizioni generali in rapporto all'età del pezzo. Il serbatoio in vetro azzurro non presenta filature, crepe o riparazioni strutturali. Il camino in vetro trasparente presenta una piccolissima sbeccatura sul bordo (vedi foto allegate). L'ottone della base presenta una bellissima e naturale patina del tempo che ne attesta l'autenticità e l'epoca storica. Meccanismo della rotella presente e funzionante.
EN: Excellent general condition relative to the age of the piece. The light blue glass reservoir has no cracks, hairlines, or structural repairs. The clear glass chimney has a very small chip on the edge (see attached photos). The brass of the base shows a beautiful and natural time patina, certifying its authenticity and historical era. Thumb wheel mechanism present and working.
