Artwork Overview:

Four beings have gathered to receive the same message. Each hears something different.

Across a pale, weathered ground, ARVY arranges an enigmatic procession. A yellow-crowned mask stands at the left; beside it, a ghostly face emerges behind a crimson cross-like structure. A dark figure carries a solitary purple eye beneath a blue crown, while the elongated being at the edge resembles both an idol and a receiver—its body filled with coloured circles like a constellation or control panel. Their alignment suggests a ceremony, yet none turns towards another.

In Sacred Signals, symbols of faith, hierarchy and technology occupy the same visual language. The cross might be an altar or transmission tower; crowns become antennas, and bodies resemble coded machines. Rather than defining what these figures believe, ARVY explores the enduring human need to transform uncertainty into signs—and then grant those signs authority.

The deliberately naïve forms are animated by neo-expressionist marks and visible revisions. Cobalt, crimson, violet and electric yellow break through the muted grey-beige atmosphere, creating a tension between ancient ritual and an imagined future.

The figures offer no explanation for the signal they have received. Standing before them, the viewer becomes the missing participant—another receiver searching the surrounding noise for meaning.
