Beautiful and decorative fireplace companion set featuring distinctive horse-and-rider motifs.

The set consists of an ornate freestanding holder with four matching fireplace tools: a shovel, brush and two long fireplace tools/pokers. The decorative
finials feature sculptural horse-and-rider figures, giving the set a particularly unusual equestrian character.

The set has an attractive aged copper/bronze-coloured appearance with natural patina, surface wear and signs of previous use. The finish shows areas of wear revealing the grey metal underneath.
A magnet adheres strongly to all components. Based on this test, the underlying material is considered to be ferrous metal, most likely steel or iron, with a copper/bronze-coloured surface finish. It is therefore not described as solid copper or brass.

No maker's mark or manufacturer's stamp was found.

The set is suitable as a decorative fireplace accessory and would also make an attractive display piece for a traditional, vintage or eclectic interior.
