Detta är den första upplagan av Christoph Clavius välförtjänt firade kommentaren till Euclid, ett av renässansens grundläggande matematiska verk och bland de mest inflytelserika upplagorna av Elementarna som någonsin publicerats.

En ren upplaga, med skada upptill på ryggen men i övrigt mycket bra. Vackert tryckt och mycket ren, förutom en ljus äldre vattenfläck i nedre hörn av sidorna 1–10 och 289 till slutet. Prolegomena har liknande nedre hörnfläckar på vissa sidor, men alltid lätta, och även de första sidorna (se bilder).
