Decorative set consisting of three desk inkwells in hand-painted tin-glazed earthenware:

one inkwell signed Balaco from Moustiers, decorated with a blue-toned bird;
one inkwell signed Décor Meillonnas – handmade, with polychrome floral decoration, complete with its lid;
an elegant antique inkwell with Chinese-inspired decoration, adorned with birds and flowers, with brass mount and twisted glass nib.

Three charming pieces, witnesses to the art of writing and the French faïence tradition. A beautiful ensemble for a collector, a cabinet of curiosities, or refined desk decor.

Condition as photos show, with signs of age and small defects to be noted precisely. Moustiers signed Balaco, Meillonnas with floral decoration and elegant polychrome model of extreme-oriental inspiration, accompanied by its twisted glass nib.
