This is the first comprehensive art album showcasing the complete oeuvre of Amerigo Tot.
Amerigo Tot (1909–1984) was a Hungarian-Italian sculptor and painter known for his abstract and monumental works. Tot studied art in Budapest and later in Rome, where he became a key figure in post-war Italian modernism. His early work was influenced by futurism and constructivism, eventually evolving into dynamic abstract forms. Tot gained international recognition for his relief sculpture at Rome’s Termini railway station.
The introductory essay was written by eminent Hungarian art historian and museum director Lóránd Bereczky.
The volume also features the full transcript of a television interview conducted with the artist by Zsuzsa D. Fehér.
