Ramon Neckelmann (1907–2000) - Faun und Nixe

Ramon Neckelmann (1907–2000).

"Faun und Nixe", 1948.
Lithograph on vellum paper.
Hand-signed by the German artist and set designer.

Dimensions: 42.5 x 30.5 cm.

A flat, two-dimensional composition characteristic of the artist's style, featuring an ornamental approach to form. It evokes a dreamlike, fairy-tale realm with Orientalist undertones; Neckelmann’s work immerses the viewer in scenes filled with a dreamy, lyrical, and fantastical atmosphere.

Slight signs of handling. Very well preserved.
