Vintage: 2017
Number of Bottles: 4

Produced by the San Polo winery, this Brunello di Montalcino is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes sourced from the estate's historic vineyards, which feature clay and calcium rich soils. Following meticulous hand-harvesting, the selected grapes undergo vinification and fermentation in concrete tanks. The wine is then aged for 30 months in oak barrels, followed by a minimum of six months of bottle aging before release. Structured and elegant, it is destined to develop further nuances over the years. Deep ruby red in color. The nose offers a succession of aromas violet, small red fruits, fruit preserves, and spicy notes of vanilla and toasted elements, alongside hints of wood and forest floor. On the palate, it is warm and full-bodied, with elegant yet well-defined tannins and a long, persistent finish.
