Havet drar sig tillbaka, och kommer igen,
Och lämnar henne vilandes vid stranden.
Bredvid sin hand, ett litet fartyg,
Drömmer fortfarande om haven igenom allt.

Inget stormväder behövs för att gå vilse,
Inget avlägset skeppslopp räknar kostnaden.
Ibland är den strand vi hoppas hitta
den plats där vi lämnar oss själva efter.
