The device uses the NTSC standard and records to MiniDV tapes; it is also compatible with Memory Stick media for capturing still images. It includes a flip-out LCD screen and a separate electronic viewfinder, offering flexible framing and preview options. The button layout is intuitive, and both recording and playback functions are fully operational.
