The Damien Drips series by Dr Drip draws on Damien Hirst's spot paintings and Yayoi Kusama's obsessive dots. Thick spots of colour meet, overlap and push against each other, in a play of contrasts and harmonies. Every spot is made by hand, so no two works are the same.

CONDITION
The work is in excellent condition and has been carefully stored. Small accidental drips or irregularities are inherent to the process and are considered part of the artwork.
SHIPPING & PACKAGING
The artwork is shipped flat between oversized rigid cardboard panels that protect every edge and corner. It includes a letter with framing instructions and a certificate of authenticity signed and stamped by Dr Drip.
Why the shipping cost is more than the courier fee: each package is custom-made by hand and takes around 30 minutes to prepare. The shipping cost covers the courier, full insurance, the packing materials and the handling time. Only reliable couriers are used, so the work arrives in the same condition it left the studio.
This way the price you bid is for the artwork only, and the care that goes into delivering it is covered by the shipping.
