The Bushmills Steamship Port Cask Reserve is the 2nd edition of this small series honoring the 125th anniversary of the SS Bushmills, a steamship that served the distillery. What makes this exquisite Bushmills Steamship Port Cask bottling special is that this triple-distilled Irish single malt matured the entire time in fine port wine casks from Portugal. Nose: Intense aromas of dark, ripe fruits with a hint of port wine sweetness, which are very distinctive on the nose with traces of oak and vanilla.
Taste: Voluminous aromas of dark chocolate with a hint of black coffee and port wine. Underneath are hints of tropical fruits and fresh vanilla. Very complex and with a fantastic balance of flavors, it glides smoothly into the finish.
Finish: Long and with a subtle sweetness that encompasses honey and fruit, this port wine-aged Bushmills Irish Whiskey fades smoothly.

Nose: Sweet honey with vanilla and ripe fruit. Added notes of fresh spices.
Taste: Very smooth with a velvety texture. Again very sweet with cane sugar and vanilla. This is followed by the taste of exotic fruits and raisins.
Finish: Medium-long, with a pleasant spice and sweet oak. Notes of sweet rum linger in the finish.
