Davide Rossi figlio di MARINO ANGELO ROSSI Bergamo, 30 aprile 1940 - 3 ottobre 2022 INTAGLIATORE _ SCULTORE _ PITTORE Autodidatta, scopre l'intaglio ligneo nei primi '70. Dotato di un talento puro e cristallino, realizza opere classiche e sacre in stile 500/600 che non passano inosservate agli occhi di esperti e critici. E proprio da enti e istituzioni prestigiose arriva l'invito a realizzare in copia ex novo le Opere di Andrea Fantoni, considerato il caposcuola e gran maestro dell'intaglio e della scultura lignea, e a vestire i panni del docente per insegnare le tecniche dell'intaglio alla Scuola D'Arte Fantoni. Nel corso degli anni, perfeziona il suo stile proiettandolo in una visione attuale dell'arte, libero di sperimentare innovative tecniche per dipingere i propri bassorilievi ad aniline e acrilici. La Scultura e la Pittura si fondono in un'unica Opera. Nel 2014 viene invitato dall'Ambasciata d’Italia nel Principato di Monaco a rappresentare le Eccellenze nazionali al Mese Della Cultura Italiana sotto l'alto patronato di SAS il Principe Alberto II e del Presidente della Repubblica Sergio Mattarella. My name is Davide Rossi. My father MARINO ANGELO ROSSI was a CARVER _ SCULPTOR _ PAINTER. ( April 30, 1940 - October 3, 2022 Bergamo ) Self-taught, he discovered the wooden carving in the early '70s. With a pure talent and clear, he creates classic and sacred works in 500/600 style that do not go unnoticed in the eyes of experts and critics. And it is precisely from prestigious bodies and institutions that the invitation to create a new copy of the Works of Andrea Fantoni, considered the leader and grand master of carving and wooden sculpture, and to take on the role of teacher to teach the techniques of carving at the Fantoni School of Art. Over the years, he perfected his style of sculpture inspired by the classic 500/600, projected in an actual vision of the art, free to experiment with innovative techniques to paint his bas-reliefs to acrylic. Sculpture and Painting merge into a single work. In 2014 he was invited by the Italian Embassy in the Principality of Monaco to represent national Excellences at The Month Of The Italian Culture under the high patronage of Prince Albert II & the President of the Republic.
