Alan Parsons ist ein englischer Audioingenieur, Songwriter, Musiker, Sänger und Plattenproduzent.

Parsons war der Toningenieur bei Alben wie den Beatles' Abbey Road (1969) und Let It Be (1970), Pink Floyds Dark Side of the Moon (1973) sowie dem gleichnamigen Debütalbum von Ambrosia im Jahr 1975. Parsons' eigene Gruppe, das Alan Parsons Project, sowie seine späteren Soloaufnahmen waren ebenfalls kommerziell erfolgreich. Er wurde für 13 Grammy Awards nominiert, wobei sein erster Gewinn 2019 für das beste immersive Audioalbum für Eye in the Sky (35th Anniversary Edition) erfolgte.
