Minoru Sashida 指田実 - Danketsu kataku hata takaku 指田実遺作作品集 団結かたく旗をかく - 1972

A very rare title by Japanese photographer Minoru Sashida titled Danketsu kataku hata takaku ("Firmly raising the banner"). Captivating, contrasty black and white images throughout, very well printed.

Condition: very good to fine, interior clean, no stains or foxing, unmarked, outside with only minor signs of handling.

This book was made by the officials of the Japan News Agency and the Realism Photography Group after the death of Sashida, as described in "Collections of Unearthed Works". Sashida photographs show the actual situations and struggles of workers, farmers, citizens, etc., whose lives have been broken apart along with the rapidly changing society in the 1960s.
