The photo book "My After School" by the Japanese photographer Masayoshi Kishimoto documents children in captivating black and white photos.

A rare title, particularly in this great condition and as a signed copy.

Condition: very good, interior clean and unmarked, no stains or foxing. Cover incluces the original acetate sleeve, which is slightly out of shape. Apart from this detail in fine condition.

During the time of the Japan Press Service Photography Department, Masayoshi Kishimoto joined as a founding member of the "Japan Realism Photography Group", and even after becoming a freelancer, he supported the organization as a director and lecturer. This book is Kishimoto's first photo book and has the theme of after-school care. In the postscript it is stated that he visited 33 schoolchildren's daycare nationwide once a month for the magazine "Japanese Schoolchildren's Hoiku". The lively or serious facial expressions of children who are absorbed in playing or devoting themselves to something.
