Rare USSR Watch "Pobeda" (ZIM) – 20th Anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's Space Flight (1961–1981)
Historical Background:
A highly collectible timepiece produced in 1981 by the Maslennikov Factory (ZIM) to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the first human flight into space. This model is a cornerstone for any Soviet (CCCP) or Space exploration (Cosmos) memorabilia collection.

Technical Details & Measurements:
Movement: Legendary ZIM 2602, manual wind, 15 ruby jewels. Traditional non-shockproof construction, known for its high repairability and reliability.

Case Material: Chrome-plated brass with a stainless steel commemorative back.

Watch Size/Diameter: 34 mm (from left to right, excluding the crown).

Lug-to-Lug: 42 mm.

Wristband: Brown leather strap in used condition (please see photos).


Condition Report:
Dial: Excellent condition, ivory/cream color. The color portrait of Yuri Gagarin remains vivid and detailed.

Case: Good vintage condition with minor surface scratches and slight wear of the chrome plating consistent with age (please see photos).

Case Back: Exceptional preservation. The deep relief engraving (Gagarin, Vostok rocket, dates 1961-1981) is sharp and clearly visible, which is rare for this model.

Glass: Acrylic crystal, polished and clear.

Service History: The service history is unknown, but the movement has been tested; it starts easily and keeps good vintage time. A professional cleaning/oiling is always recommended for daily use.
