Beautiful ceramic vase with matching dish from the “Kreta” series, designed by Britt Louise Sundell for Gustavsberg, Sweden, circa 1960–1970.

This elegant example of Scandinavian mid-century design features a deep brown to black glaze decorated with characteristic white circular motifs, typical of the Kreta series. The textured glaze and graphic pattern create a striking decorative piece representative of Swedish studio ceramics from the period.

The set includes:
• 1 tall vase
• 1 matching dish / plate

The vase can be displayed inside the dish as originally intended, or separately as two decorative pieces.

The base bears the original Gustavsberg labels and an impressed factory mark.

Condition

Good vintage condition with normal signs of age and use.
No visible cracks or chips observed.
