Oretachi Dokonimo Irarenai (We Can't Stay Anywhere) is George Hashiguchi’s first book, one of the most excellent documents on youth subcultures ever published. Beautifully printed in deep gravure. A very rare title, especially as a signed copy.

For several years Hashiguchi wandered around the world documenting teenage rebellious youths, from Tokyo to London, Liverpool, Berlin to other cities. Fascinating both socially and ethnographically, this book is an excellent overview of the late 70’s youth tribes shot in a raw photodocumentary style.

This copy beautifully signed in black ink by the photographer.

Condition: very good softcover, interior clean, no creased pages, no markings, no stains or foxing, photo-illustrated dust jacket with minor signs of handling.
