This AAA+ Lapis Lazuli freeform features an intense royal blue hue on both sides, highly polished and displaying very few inclusions — a mark of top-grade quality. The front side carries a delicate “snowflake” calcite pattern that enhances the natural beauty without distracting from the depth of the blue tone.
Lapis Lazuli has been treasured for over 6,000 years and was one of the most valued stones of ancient civilizations. It was mined in the same region of Afghanistan since the time of the Pharaohs and was used to create amulets, scarabs, royal seals, and even the blue pigment ultrago marine used by Renaissance painters. Kings, priests, and healers believed the stone symbolised truth, inner wisdom, and divine connection.
