Miguel Carbajal (1986) - First Breath of Spring

Miguel Carbajal studied photography at the Instituto Peruano de Arte y Diseño in Lima, Peru and
later developed his painting practice independently,
following the lineage of self-taught artists such as Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, and Basquiat,
whose autonomy shaped powerful and personal visual languages.

Drawing from Impressionism, Expressionism, Surrealism and Art Brut,
his work blends symbolic abstraction, color and inner perception.
