Authentic Schneider Art Déco Table Lamp
France, circa 1920-1930
A stunning example of French Art Déco craftsmanship, featuring a signed Schneider glass shade in the distinctive mottled orange-to-cream overlay technique characteristic of the Épinay-sur-Seine manufactory during its golden period.
Glass Shade:
Authentic etched signature: "SCHNEIDER"
Technique: Acid-etched overlay glass (verre gravé à l'acide)
Colours: Graduated orange to cream with marbled mottling
Bell-shaped form with metal fitting
Height: approx. 15 cm
Base & Fittings:
Wrought iron tripod base with Art Nouveau leaf decoration
Three twisted vertical supports
Original metal hardware with patina
Height total: approx. 35 cm
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition
Glass shade: No cracks, chips, or significant scratches

About Schneider:
Charles Schneider (1881-1953) established his glassworks in Épinay-sur-Seine in 1913.
