Meddle is the sixth studio album by the English rock band Pink Floyd, released on October 30, 1971 in the US and November 5, 1971 in Europe.
It marks the band's transition from psychedelic rock to art rock/progressive rock.
The album underperforms commercially than its predecessor, Atom Heart Mother, but is considered stylistically more important by the group itself and most scholars.
