AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Original ceramic sculpture approximately 32 cm high, hand-signed at the base. Equipped with a special pad attached to prevent scratching furniture. Fired in an electric kiln, glazed with silver and red glazes, and decorated with metal wire (in the 'rusty' version combined with colored coating). The glossy finish causes the sculpture to subtly change color depending on the light (warm sunlight, cool artificial lighting) and reflect surrounding reflections, as well shown in the photos. It is worth noting that ceramics fired at around 1000 degrees Celsius can easily be placed outdoors — they are resistant to changing weather conditions. Close-up images show the vividly changing glaze along with surface irregularities. A cracked fragment of the ear is also visible, which has been carefully secured.

The sculptor is Adela Marchewka, a graduate with a master's degree in fine arts. After her studies, she explored the techniques of batik (wax painting) and attended the Academy of Open Education at the Sculpture Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She has participated multiple times in the National Ceramic En plein air 'Azymut Chrzęsne' and in numerous exhibitions. She is a member of the Polish Association of Visual Artists.
