Seth Crocker vacuum-filler fountain pen with a black plastic body and gold nib, made in the United States in the mid-20th century, 131 mm long and 11.7 mm in diameter, one item, used in good condition with minor signs of wear and fully functional.
Description from the seller
The pen is in very good overall condition, notable for its build quality and the proper preservation of a technical model with a vacuum filling system, typical of pens with greater mechanical complexity.
The body and the cap, made of black material (ebonite/resin, depending on the period), retain a good level of shine, with micro surface marks and slight signs of use, consistent with the passage of time and only visible under close inspection. No cracks, fissures, or structural deformations are observed.
The metallic elements, including the decorative rings and visible internal parts, show slight and uniform wear consistent with the age of the piece, with no active corrosion or damages that compromise its integrity.
The gold nib shows visible signs of use, typical of a vintage pen, but remains intact, with no noticeable breaks or cracks. The original engravings remain clear and perfectly legible, reinforcing the authenticity of the set.
The vacuum loading system has been verified and is functioning correctly at the time of inspection, allowing normal ink loading, which adds significant value for both collectors and users who want a fully operational pen.
Overall, it is an original pen, well-preserved and fully functional, suitable for both collection and regular use, especially attractive to enthusiasts of advanced loading systems and historical pieces.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
