"Pink Floyd – The Wall" is the eleventh studio album by the British rock band Pink Floyd and was released in 1979.

The story that "The Wall" tells is about a fictional rock star named Pink who builds a metaphorical "wall" around himself due to traumatic events in his life. This wall represents his emotional isolation and alienation from the world.
The album goes through different phases in Pink's life, starting with his childhood and adolescence, depicting traumatic events such as the loss of his father in World War II and his mother's repressive parenting methods.
