About the series:
Clouds & Bubbles is a black-and-white photographic series that subtly intervenes in seemingly documentary scenes. Shot on analog 6×6 film, the images depict everyday or historically charged places—landscapes, urban spaces, cemeteries, vehicles—disrupted by the deliberate insertion of clouds and bubbles. These elements function as both poetic and disturbing intrusions: they float, obscure, and interrupt the visual logic of the photograph, challenging its claim to objectivity. The clouds resemble disembodied thoughts or temporal disturbances, while the bubbles introduce an almost playful yet clearly artificial presence.
