Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Two Caran d'Ache Madison gold-plated pens, a ballpoint and a mechanical pencil, from Switzerland, dating to the late 20th century, each 134 mm long and 7.6 mm in diameter, in good used condition and in working order, supplied with the original Caran d’Ache Madison case.
Description from the seller
Both pieces (pen and mechanical pencil) feature well-preserved gold-plated finishes with a uniform shine. Slight superficial signs of use are visible, such as fine micro-scratches detectable upon close inspection, consistent with careful use and appropriate for the age of the set.
The striated bodies retain their defined lines, with no dents, dings, or visible loss of plating. The metal clips are secure, properly aligned, and in good aesthetic condition.
The retractable mechanisms work correctly during the inspection.
The original Caran d’Ache Madison case shows normal signs of use and the passage of time on the exterior. The interior is well preserved and correctly maintains its protective and presentation functions.
Overall, the lot is presented in an adequate condition for immediate use or collection.
