Description from the seller
This work has been done without the use of Artificial Intelligence.
Global warning is much more than a photograph: it is an artistic thermometer on climate change.
In this self-portrait, the artist appears surrounded by an apocalyptic landscape, crowned with hand-painted leaves using thermal paint. This pigment reacts to an increase in temperature: the green disappears, revealing a dry brown. When the green no longer returns... we will know that it is too late.
Lídia Vives creates a visually powerful and deeply conceptual work, in which beauty and denunciation coexist in the same scene.
This unique piece is printed on Hahnemühle Bamboo Natural Line eco-friendly paper, framed with anti-reflective gallery glass and a gold frame. It is a 1/1 edition, signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
