Description of the work
Jupiter’s Brother is an abstract work of strong material and cosmic suggestion. The choice of a circular format immediately evokes the idea of a celestial body, planet, or orbit, reinforcing the dialogue with the title. The surface is traversed by fluid stratifications of deep blues, warm grays, and earth tones, enriched with golden accents that emerge like mineral veins or traces of ancestral light.
The horizontal movement of the composition evokes primordial landscapes, celestial atmospheres, or oceanic depths, deliberately leaving the scale of interpretation ambiguous: micro and macrocosm blend together. The pictorial matter, dense and vibrant, alternates between more compact areas and porous, irregular zones, creating a balanced tension between force and silence.
The work conveys a sense of suspended time and restrained power, inviting the viewer to a slow, almost meditative contemplation, where nature, myth, and imagination intertwine.
