Waterman Exception fountain pen, made in France, with a red lacquered body in precious resin, gold-plated trims, a solid 18K gold nib, 137 mm long and 13.6 mm in diameter, in good used condition with minor signs of wear and in working order, shipped in a courtesy box.
Description from the seller
The pen is in very good overall condition, with remarkable preservation both aesthetically and functionally. The body features a finish in bright red lacquer, uniform and deep, maintaining an excellent level of shine and color, with no cracks, fissures, or visible dents. Slight micro-scratches typical of very moderate use can be seen, only visible under close inspection and direct light, without affecting its appearance or its collector's value.
The gilded metallic attributes (clip, rings, and fittings) are in very good condition, with a uniform shine and no noticeable plating loss. The original Waterman Paris and France engravings are sharp and perfectly legible, confirming their authenticity and good care.
The 18K solid gold nib is in excellent condition, with no deformations or visible wear, and its engravings remain intact, with proper alignment. The filling system functions correctly, ensuring reliable use.
Overall, it is a carefully crafted, elegant, and fully functional piece, ideal for both distinguished use and inclusion in a high-end writing collection.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
