Sheaffer Imperial gold-plated fountain pen from the United States, about 131 mm long and 12 mm in diameter, used but in good working condition.
Description from the seller
The pen is presented in very good condition, maintaining an elegant and solid presence, in line with a high-end vintage Sheaffer Imperial. The body and cap, gold-plated with a striated finish, retain a uniform and attractive shine, with slight micro-surface signs typical of normal use and the passage of time, visible only upon close inspection. No dents, dings, or structural deformations are apparent.
The cap fits correctly, with a firm and secure closure. The gold-plated clip is straight, functional, and well-preserved, with no looseness or material loss. The White Dot Sheaffer is present, intact, and well-fixed, an essential detail for collectors.
The inlaid nib made of 14K solid gold remains intact, without cracks or fissures, with a well-aligned tip. No deformations or previous repairs are observed. The feed appears to be in good visual condition.
Overall, it is an honest, elegant pen that is fully suitable for both use and collection, with a level of preservation superior to the usual for models of this era.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
