Parker 75 fountain pen and ballpoint set from the United Kingdom, with a striped gold‑plated finish and a 14K solid gold nib, two items, dating to the mid‑20th century, length 128 mm and diameter 11 mm, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
A0000001803
The Parker 75 set (fountain pen + ballpoint pen) is presented in very good condition, maintaining an elegant and uniform appearance, consistent with a high-end vintage set. Both the pen and the ballpoint pen retain the striped gold-plated finish (Ciselé) with an attractive and even shine, showing slight superficial micro-scratches typical of normal use and age, visible only upon close inspection. No dents, dings, or significant loss of plating are apparent.
The 'PARKER 75' engravings on the central rings are sharp and perfectly legible, confirming the originality and authenticity of the set. The gold-plated clips are straight, firm, and functional, with no looseness.
The fountain pen features a 14K solid gold nib in very good condition, with no cracks or deformations, and a well-aligned tip. The nib retains its visible marking and shows no structural wear. The black, ribbed section is in good aesthetic condition. The cartridge/converter filling system is intact (a cleaning is recommended before regular use).
The pen operates correctly through its twist mechanism, with smooth and precise functioning. It does not exhibit looseness or mechanical failures.
Overall, it is an original, elegant set that is perfectly suitable for both use and collection, with a level of preservation higher than usual for Parker 75 sets of this era.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
