In the foreground, a small pond delicately reflects fragments of the landscape, doubling the greens, ochres, and violets that dominate the scene. This water surface provides a calm and subtle visual rhythm, acting as a counterpoint to the density of the upper vegetation.
To the left, two figures sitting under the shade of the trees seem to converse or simply contemplate the landscape.
