Pelikan M400 Black fountain pen in steel with gold‑plated clip and rings, 14K gold nib size F, piston filler, 127 mm long and 11.6 mm in diameter, made in Germany in the 2000–2010 period, in good used condition with minor signs.
Description from the seller
The fountain pen is presented in very good condition, fully maintaining the elegance, material quality, and characteristic presence of the Pelikan Souverän line. The body and cap in polished black resin retain a deep, uniform shine, with no cracks, fissures, or deformations, showing only very slight superficial micro signs typical of normal use, visible only upon close observation.
The gold-plated elements — clip, rings, and the emblem of the culotte — are well preserved, with a uniform tone and no noticeable plating loss. The engravings remain sharp and perfectly legible, reflecting proper care of the piece.
The solid 14K (585) gold nib, size F, features properly aligned wings and an intact tip, with no visible deformations or irregular wear. The feed is clean and well-preserved, maintaining the original channel design.
The piston loading system is present and operational, with smooth rotation and no play, responding correctly to its activation.
Overall, it is a very well-preserved pen suitable for both high-quality daily use and collection, especially attractive to Pelikan enthusiasts and collectors seeking a reliable, elegant example with an original gold nib.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
