Set of 12 French drinking glasses with silver mounts and original case, circa 1900. Silver mounts gilded.
France, circa 1880–1910
Offered is a complete set of 12 antique drinking glasses made of clear glass with finely acid-etched vine and laurel decoration.
Each glass is equipped with a solid silver mounting featuring a classic pearl bead decoration.
The silver mountings bear the French Minerva stamps, which guarantee solid silver (at least 800/1000), as well as the master mark of a French silversmith, specialized in silver mountings on glass (mounted glasses).
The sentence is in its original, contemporary presentation case of a French jeweler.
