Olav Vorsel (born 1922) Zonder titel, an unsigned acrylic painting on paper from the original edition of the 1990s, measuring 100 by 75 cm, Netherlands, in good condition.
Description from the seller
Acrylic painting on paper
100 x 75 cm
Olav Vorsel (1922–2007) was a Dutch artist who dedicated himself entirely to painting later in life, after a career as director at the Van Ditmar publishing house. From the age of 47, he developed an impressive and versatile body of work comprising more than a thousand pieces. His style ranges from expressive, thickly painted canvases to sleek geometric abstractions. Themes such as social engagement, existential questions, and inner experience run as a common thread through his work. Vorsel was inspired by personal experiences, his youth, and a strong analytical mind.
Viewing is, of course, possible. Additionally, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we collaborate with restorers from the professional organization: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you wish to make use of this service, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
