She was born in 1976 in Kazakhstan, in the city of Kokshetau, in the Akmola Region. Polish blood runs in her veins—her grandmother was one of the many thousands of Poles exiled to those parts of the world. As a child, she moved with her parents to Georgia, where, after completing secondary school, she enrolled in 1995 at the Apollon Kutateladze State Academy of Arts in Tbilisi. Drawing and painting have accompanied her throughout her life since childhood, and impression has become her great love. Marta’s paintings are like polished diamonds, sparkling on the slopes of the glaciers of the Caucasus Mountains. The works of this painter can be found in many collections.
