Apple - Sealed iPod nano 2nd Gen Silver 2006 - Rare Ipod

This is an auction of a very special piece of the history of Apple: an excellent unit of the second generation of the iPod nano, from 2006, still sealed in its genuine and never opened box.

The iPod nano 2nd Gen came in a stylish aluminum enclosure, giving this music player a very thin and light design, with a weight of only 40 grams and reduced dimensions of 89x40x6.5 millimeters. 1,000 songs in your pocket, with 4 GB of memory, 24 hours of battery life and the innovative Apple Click Wheel controller.

Now, 19 years later from the release of the iPod nano 2nd Gen, you have the chance of bidding for this completely new silver unit, still in its sealed and never opened box. It is a vintage electronics collectible, very hard to find. Good luck in the auction!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The Apple iPods of this era were packed in methacrylate cases, and sealed with transparent seals on the top and bottom faces of the case, as you can see in the pictures of this unit. The top seal of these cases had a grey arrow that you had to pull to open the iPod when you bought it. Sometimes, this grey arrow was applied by the Apple factory slightly out of the case dimensions. This unit of iPod nano is one of these cases, Apple put the grey arrow a little out of the case, so with the years the arrow has been slightly lifted in that corner due to be stored in a box, but the seal has never pulled and opened. If you examine the pictures of the top face of the case with detail, you can check that the seal has never been opened, confirming that this iPod nano from 2006 is completely new and sealed.

Given that this unit has never been opened and turned on, it has not been activated, it has not been connected to any computer with iTunes and Apple cannot give an exact purchase date for this serial number 7J7047C0VQ5, but surely is from 2006 or 2007 because it was only produced in these years. No sealed 2d Gen iPods nano show the purchase date in the Apple Check Coverage service. I have contacted with Apple Customer Service and they have confirmed me that these devices needed to be activated previously in order to show the purchase date in the Apple website.
