A fine Japanese old Kutani porcelain dish decorated with a vibrant hand-painted peony (botan) floral motif in traditional overglaze enamels.
This piece dates to the late Edo period (circa 1800–1850) and reflects the refined elegance of Japanese decorative ceramics of the time.

The dynamic blue leaves and richly coloured red peonies are beautifully balanced on a pure white porcelain body. The dish is well suited for both display and collection, representing the classic aesthetic of Japanese floral symbolism and craftsmanship.

Dimensions:

Diameter: 20.5 cm

Height: 5.7 cm

Condition:
Good condition. There is minor surface staining visible on the rim, as shown in the photos. No cracks or chips are observed.
