Circa 1945.
Size: 52.5 x 38 cm
Wood and stucco frame: 64 x 49.5 cm
From the KEIM Gallery (Sttutgart). Stamp-label on the reverse. With inscription of the acquisition date: 23-III-1966.
This work by the German sculptor and painter Wilhelm Link that we present is one of those made in the 1940s and 1950s dedicated to various Italian cities. Characteristic vanishing points towards which the viewer leans out of the picture window, very common in his work as an urban landscaper. German neo-impressionism with an evanescent line. Excellent framing.
Work preserved with care. In perfect condition, including the framework of the historic Keim Gallery.
