Jar - Porcelain - Blue and white lidded jar

A Chinese blue and white porcelain lidded jar, dating to the Qing dynasty
The jar is decorated with floral motifs arranged in hexagonal panels, painted in underglaze blue. The form is elegant and well-proportioned, with a domed cover surmounted by a knop finial.
Such jars were produced for export and decorative use and are characteristic of Qing period export porcelain.
The lid appears to be a correct matching example, consistent in glaze and decoration with the jar.

The lid shows a chip to the rim.
The footrim has chips.
There is a hairline to the mouth rim.
