At Artis Art Gallery, we take as much care in shipping your artworks as we do in creating them. To ensure you receive your works with complete peace of mind, we have implemented an exclusive and fully secure logistics process.
A journey mastered step by step
1. Departure from Saigon: Your canvas is carefully packed and shipped from our Art gallery in Saigon, Vietnam.
An initial labeling with a barcode ensures the traceability of the work until its arrival on European soil.
2. European Transit: Once in Europe, our partner freight forwarder takes over. At this stage, a second labeling is carried out to prepare for the final delivery to your home.
Zero formalities for you: this is where our service makes the difference. All administrative and customs procedures are fully managed by our European customs broker.
Why is this an advantage for you?
Total peace of mind: You have no documents to fill out, no unexpected taxes to pay upon delivery, and no customs procedures to undertake.
Real-time tracking: Thanks to double tagging, we keep an eye on your dashboard from the gallery exit to your door.
Maximum security: By going through a European logistics hub, we reduce delays and ensure respectful handling of the artwork by industry professionals.
Did you know? This 'turnkey' process is designed so that your only task is to choose the perfect location for your new canvas as soon as it arrives.

Biography: Truong Van Anh (or Trương Văn Anh)
Born in Hanoi in 1951, Truong Van Anh belongs to a pivotal generation. His childhood and adolescence took place during a time of war. Like many artists of his cohort, his artistic awakening was shaped by the need to depict the daily life of the Vietnamese people and the country's resilience.
He completed the rigorous curriculum of art schools in North Vietnam.
Education: He graduated from the University of Fine Arts of Vietnam (Hanoi). His training is based on academic foundations inherited from the colonial era (influence of the École des Beaux-Arts de l'Indochine), combined with traditional local techniques.
• Technical mastery: Although he can work with oil, he is mainly recognized for his work on supports that are typically Vietnamese, notably silk painting and lacquer.
His work is often described as a search for peace and serenity, in contrast with the tumult of his country's history. His main themes include:
The landscapes of the North: Sapa mountains, bays, and rural villages around Hanoi.
The female figure: Portraits of Vietnamese women in Ao Dai, often depicted with a melancholic elegance and great finesse of line.
• Everyday life scenes: markets, children playing, or work scenes in the fields, captured with soft light.
Exhibitions: He participated in numerous national exhibitions organized by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association. His works were also exported abroad (France, Singapore, Japan) during Vietnam's opening to the international art market in the 1990s.
Visual style: Its style is characterized by harmonious colors, avoiding overly harsh contrasts, favoring pastel shades on silk or the deep amber hues of lacquer.
