Parker Duofold Parkette fountain pen in marmoleado celluloid resin with a 14 carat gold nib signed PARKER PEN MADE IN U.S.A., 123 mm long and 12 mm in diameter, produced in the United States in the mid‑20th century, in good used condition with minor signs of wear and fully functional button‑fill mechanism.
Description from the seller
The input appears to be a numerical code with no translatable content.
The pen is presented in very good condition, maintaining its original structure intact and an especially attractive presence for a vintage specimen of the Duofold series. The body and cap made of marbled celluloid retain a warm, deep shine, with a well-defined chromatic pattern in golden and reddish tones, without cracks, fissures, or structural deformations.
Light signs of superficial wear are evident, typical of the passage of time, visible only under close inspection and fully consistent with its age, without affecting the aesthetics or the integrity of the material. The engravings on the body, 'GEORGE S. PARKER – MADE IN U.S.A.', remain clear and legible, demonstrating moderate and uniform wear.
The metallic elements, including the ball-type clip signed PARKER, retain their original shape, showing a light and uniform loss of gold, with no corrosion or structural damage. The central ring remains firmly in place and properly aligned.
The button-loading system is operational, with correct response and no looseness, allowing for efficient loading. The internal bag is present and functional at the time of inspection.
The original 14-karat solid gold nib, signed 'PARKER PEN – MADE IN U.S.A.', is in very good condition, properly aligned and without deformations, offering smooth and fluid writing, with a slight elasticity that provides a pleasant response during use.
Overall, it is an authentic and well-preserved Parker Duofold, fully functional and with a balanced aesthetic, ideal for both a demanding collector and for elegant, mindful use, maintaining the character and quality that have made this model an icon of classic writing.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
