This is a Japanese tea bowl (chawan) by Hanabusa Mine (花房美峰), a contemporary Kyoto-based ceramic artist known for refined Kyoyaki / Kenzan-style (乾山写) works.
The bowl features elegant hand-painted decoration inspired by traditional Kenzan aesthetics, combining delicacy with a calm, modern sensibility.
It is accompanied by its original tomobako (signed wooden box) bearing the artist’s seal and inscription, as well as a biography sheet.
A well-balanced piece suitable for tea ceremony use or for collectors of modern Japanese ceramics.
